Weekly Wine Tastings
Open to Close
We host a weekly wine tasting Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, open to close, for only $15. The lineup of four wines changes every week. We donate 20% of the tasting fee to a local nonprofit the first weekend of every month. Come join us, taste, learn, and shop!

Our approach to sourcing wine is centered on the relationships we've built with many of the best producers and distributors across the country, and the belief that great wine can be found at any price point. Our goal is to make exploring wine approachable and exciting, and we focus on smaller, family-owned producers to bring you value you won't find anywhere.
We're always looking for ways to give back to our neighbors, and that includes an emphasis on breweries in central Ohio and the midwest, from quintessential local brews to hard-to-find special releases. Looking for European imports, ciders, or THC options? We've got those, too.

Open whenever the shop is open!
Dive Baar is our tasting room and bar, located through the shop in the back half of our space. At any given time we feature a variety of 12+ wines by the glass, and 12 primarily local craft beers on tap. Enjoy any bottle in the shop for just $10 over normal retail price.
Currently the Dive Baar shares the same hours as the bottle shop (M-F 11:30-9:00 / Sat 11:00-9:00 / Sun 11:00-8:00)

JT’s Pizza & Pub are longtime friends and neighbors (did you know our space used to be JT’s carry out?) Feel free to bring their pizza over to the bar.
Nosy about wine?
Our wine clubs are all about exploration and discovery. Each month, we’ll choose new wines we’re excited about, exploring styles and varietals, from primarily small producers in our favorite winemaking regions. It’s an Aardvark adventure!
Both of our club wines are sent out with a thoughtful write-up on the producers, tasting notes, and pairing suggestions. Usually they are some combination of white, pink/orange, or red wines that are primarily dry. They’re real wines, made by real people!

Meet the wine whisperer.
Aardvark Wine & Beer was established in 2022 by Donnie Austin and Megan Cavanaugh. Donnie, a former engineer-turned-sommelier, brings a unique blend of technical precision and wine expertise to the table. Megan, with over two decades of experience in the arts, adds a creative touch to the venture. They started Aardvark to be more than just a place to buy wine. It’s a community hub where people gather to learn, create memories, and take part in memorable events. You’ll primarily see Donnie at the shop, but Megan and their two kids make an occasional appearance.
